About Bristol Fine Wine
Bristol Fine Wine was founded in 2003 to supply Bristol with quality wines at all levels. We are delighted to say that in 2019 we are still doing so, but now with greater emphasis on wholesale and corporate customers.
Charles Lucas started in the wine trade in 1987 working for the late great Bill Baker at Reid Wines before joining Lea and Sandeman in London. On returning to Bristol he founded Bristol Fine Wine to continue his love of wines. Charles is a Commandeur and the Cellar Master of the Commanderie de Bordeaux in Bristol as well as being a member of the Jeroboam Club. Charles is responsible for buying, finance, credit control and logistics.
Edward Clarke has joined Bristol Fine Wine following twenty three years working for Bibendum Wine Ltd, one of the UK’s biggest and most successful wine merchants. He started selling to private customers and went on to build several divisions and lastly held the role of Director of National On Trade looking after some of the largest On Trade customers in the country. Edward looks after our catering customers as well as buying and supplier relationships.
Kirsty Armstrong joined Bristol Fine Wine in 2018 having spent almost 20 years working for several well known wine merchants and agencies, including Bibendum Wine Ltd, Moet Hennessy and Oddbins. Having found a love of restaurants and wine after 18 months of living and working in Australia, it seemed the right choice to stay immersed in wine after returning to the UK. Kirsty is responsible for all of our on-trade customers, business development, social media and web content.
