J P Moueix Pomerol 2018, Bordeaux

Superb Pomerol wine produced by the Moueix family, the most influential family on the right bank. Founded in 1937 by Jean-Pierre Moueix, the business remains family run, with an impressive collection of chateaux including Hosanna, La Fleur Petrus, Petrus and Trotanay. Christian Moueix never lets on where the wine comes from for his Pomerol blend, however it is likely the juice that hasn't made his Grand Vin selections has been added to this high-quality Merlot-dominant Bordeaux wine.

This wine is laden with rich fruit and spice and soft tannin. Excellent value Right Bank Bordeaux.
